The method of meditation practiced

The origins of meditation

There are many meditation techniques, the method we teach at Brussels Meditation comes from Asia, more specifically from South Korea . It has been taught around the world for over 30 years now.

The objective of this meditation

The goal of this meditation is to find our true nature which is covered by a set of images. This process freezes us in false representations of reality. The goal is to free ourselves from these images in order to find deep joy.

The methodology

The meditation technique taught consists, following an introspection, of "throwing away" the images accumulated throughout the life lived. "Throwing away" means letting go, freeing oneself, taking a step back from these images which are only our subjective representations.

The meditation method proposed by Brussels Meditation

The meditation method consists of the following seven steps: first we throw away the memorized thoughts of the life lived, followed by the images of the "I" and human relationships then the body, the body and the universe, the "I" which has all the thoughts then the negative thoughts and finally the habits which correspond to the unconscious part inherited by our ancestors.

At the end of the meditative journey we are freed from all the burdens that are within us and we know the answers to the fundamental questions of life. It is total freedom because we are in harmony with ourselves and the world around us.

Only after we have "thrown away" everything can we discover the true universe that is within us and has always existed, and thus achieve human fulfillment.

Free your mind

We all live in our thoughts, which are “images” that we have accumulated throughout our lives. We are “prisoners” of these images that generate stress and anxiety.
The method invites us to watch, like a film, the story of our life, from our birth to today.

Then she invites us to free ourselves from these images which are only representations of past events. This allows stress and anxiety to gradually disappear.

Making room for joy, lightness and well-being.

Find your “true nature” and become one with the world

Once we free ourselves from stress, anxiety and all the layers that have cluttered us up until now, we can find our “true nature”.

We are in alignment with our true self and with the world.

Our vision is then positive, without doubt, fear or judgment.

We are one with the world around us.

We are then “the best version of ourselves”: our concentration and our capacities develop.

We are bolder, our creativity, our talents, and our love are revealed.
