The great thing about this meditation is that it is able to show you who you are in a much broader way than you can do yourself. It is really very difficult to see yourself as you are, so this meditation has this way of showing you from a much broader point of view.
You look inside yourself to see how you really are and you see the things that are inside you. I have seen things in myself that I did not know existed before following this method. I think that is one of the greatest strengths of this meditation. I thought it was very difficult to make changes in myself but this method has helped me to get rid of my habits and my negative thoughts that are not useful.
I am really happier now and much more relaxed. I feel better and for me, this is the best way to illustrate Happiness. In addition, my concentration has increased. Since I work with computers, it is absolutely essential to be patient and focused throughout the day. I work all day with my head, so it is very important to be relaxed. Stop gesticulating or thinking about something else, just be where I am! Meditation has really helped me!
Meditation has also made me progress as a husband and as a father. I find that the major problem in many relationships is that we are always expecting something from others. We want to get something from the other. I think that this meditation has changed this vision of things with my wife. Now, we no longer put forward the expectations that we may have of each other. Meditation has also changed the way I see my children.
I see them as they are, I see them as a parent, as a father, it is much better this way. I had prejudices that came from the strong attachment that I had for my children. With subtraction, I think that we begin to see our family in a more realistic way. It is also good for the children because they feel it and they are much more relaxed with me.
